In any case, AA’s 12 step program that they run here is not for Christians only, but for everyone.  They do put out there that you need to acknowledge a higher power / creator / bigger than you presence and ask for help, but you don’t have to put a garland around Jesus’ neck, and that, my friends, is a relief to me, agitated heathen that I am.  I’m open to God, but he’d better not have a Costco membership.
